PERSONAL COACHING

Can you imagine if nothing was off-limits in your life?

If you want something in your life and you don’t have it, Neuro-Linguistic Programming empowers you to experience, have, achieve, and be more than previously imaginable.

Our brains are just running patterns we’ve developed through life that are responsible for how we feel, what we choose to do and what is available to us in life. But these patterns don’t always update as our lives change.

Within one Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) coaching session, you can experience a major shift of getting access to experiences, feelings and goals you want, but for some reason haven’t experienced yet.

Changes are typically felt immediately or over the course of a month after just one session. These changes are lasting, until you decide you’d like something different.

If any of the below resonate, I can work with you to discover how we can update that pattern and give you new access to your definition of freedom.

Great prompts for NLP personal coaching include:

  • Unmet Goals and Desires: I want something (experience, feeling, relationships, financial goals, anything) that I don’t have (or it’s not the way I want it).
  • Clarity: Part of me wants this, but something stops me. Or part of me wants this and part of me wants that.
  • Phobias: NLP work can cure phobias, often in one session.
  • Confidence, Resourcefulness: If you’d like to show up differently in certain circumstances or with certain people, NLP can help unlock resources when, how and where you want them to show up or feel differently.
  • Healing: NLP is a powerful healer if you’re carrying around un-healed anger, resentment, sadness, fear or an un-met need for love and acceptance.
  • Peace and Joy: Eliminate unwanted triggers to live a life with more ease and joy.
  • Empowerment and Choice: Come into a new way of feeling empowered and having choice in your life.
  • Life Disruptions and Habit Making or Breaking: Whether you want to stop waking up in the middle of the night, be motivated enough to do something, or have habits you’d like to make or break, NLP can help.

Once we identify something you want within your control, we can create new pathways to make the effective and lasting changes that more effortlessly bring you what you desire.

Q&A

How long do sessions last?

Sessions last about two hours, sometimes more, sometimes less.

How often do you have a session? Is an NLP session like therapy?

Unlike traditional therapy, you do not attend NLP sessions regularly. With this style of work, there is no need to come weekly. In fact, I don’t like to see clients more than once every three weeks unless there are special circumstances.

I did traditional therapy weekly for more than two years, and I’m very grateful I did. That being said, working with me using NLP is completely different.

In a session, we will apply change-work to one specific outcome, not just checking in generally. Because of this fine-tuned application of re-wiring what’s in the way of what you want in one specific area, there’s no need to approach change in the general and more gradual way that traditional “talk” therapy offers.

Because of this, we do not schedule another session at the close of a current session. We do not meet weekly or regularly.

Instead, you book sessions when you need them. You can book a session when there is something new you want to work on.

This work is so specific and effective that typically something we worked on will shift (that’s the whole point, right?), so you don’t know you need to keep working on it until you’ve had time to integrate and notice what has already adjusted in working toward what you want.

How much does a session cost?

Because our sessions go longer and are needed less frequently than traditional therapy, a session is $225. Instead of thinking of this amount per session, you can think of this as a once a month (or less) investment in yourself.

While I can’t guarantee your personal results, I can share that my own investment as a client working with peer practitioners continues to be the single best investment I’ve ever made in my own personal happiness, well-being and ability to achieve my professional goals.

When will I see results?

Many clients experience some recognition of change within the session that already “makes it worth it.” Often, we are working on a goal that might take longer to see proof of change.

Often, you’ll notice after you’ve had an experience that you felt or responded differently or that it was easier than it used to be. After working with a client on her wanting to be more confident and comfortable being assertive, she realized a change occurred from our work together after she had an interaction and later realized that she was easily and comfortably able to respond without self-consciousness.

In the moment where she once would have become nervous, triggered or restricted, she no longer experienced these indicators because they were no longer present, so in the moment she didn’t realize something was different. It was only after a chance reflection that she thought, “oh wow, I just realized I didn’t even notice how I was easily able to be assertive!”

What can you expect from a session?

There are many approaches we may be able to use to help you work toward having what you want. Generally, a session will feel like a conversation where you can just be yourself, relax and find a comfortable seat. We will likely be working via computer (Zoom, FaceTime), and it is very important that you have uninterrupted time for the entirety of the session.

At some point, we will likely discover some surprising aspect that you learned early on, likely something you didn’t consciously remember or attribute to this goal, and we will be able to revise it to be a more updated reference point from which to more usefully create future experience.

How do you know if NLP work with me is a good fit for you?

First, it’s important to know that all NLP practitioners are different. In my experience, this varies greatly on where and how a practitioner is certified, the amount of personal growth a practitioner has worked on as a client, and what other modalities of healing one has also been certified in.

I believe being part of the practitioner program and NLP Marin has given me the highest quality training available. NLP Marin teaches NLP for one reason: to help humans have a better experience when they want it and how they would like it. I was taught by heart-centered, human-loving instructors who care deeply about the well-being of humans and the world we live in.

I’m on the verge of completing 43 full days of training and a year and a half of weekly study groups, and have also completed eight additional courses to add to what I can offer you.

So given that, how do you know if NLP work is a good fit for you? If you’re ready for a change – for something in your life to be different – wanting the change is enough to make this work possible.

While I can’t tell you if NLP is the absolute best choice you can make to invest in your own happiness, I can share what it’s done for me and others:

In addition to the specific outcomes I have worked on and seen changes within, above all, I have most seen the changes in myself in my ability to be compassionate with myself and others, access forgiveness, be calm and resourceful under stress, and to give and receive love. I experience life in a completely different way. This is why I know it’s possible.

While your journey might be different, I have seen in clients, peers and myself how this work is a precious key to opening doors to the life and experiences you want. You can also check out some of my client testimonials here.

When you’re ready, I’m ready to be your coach.
